I love the fact that not only did Stannis lead the charge across the beach, but he also led them up the ladders and was in the thick of it as much as he could be, and then when he had to be dragged away by his men, because he will not bend. It was one of the many things that show the man that Stannis Baratheon is.
He is a soldier.

Please stop doing the thing with your face where you remind me that Joffrey is just a kid. Because I much prefer thinking of him as a soulless monster, and your reminding me that he’s a screwed up child with terrible parents is making me feel things. You are making me feel things for Joffrey freaking Baratheon, and this is not acceptable. I do not want to feel for Joffrey no matter how neglected he was by Robert or spoiled and entitled by Cersei. I do not want to be reminded that he’s secretly a young boy who wants the love his drunk father never gave him and that he’s constantly abused by his family.
